IIRC, 305 was the weapons load trainer airframe up at Eilson, AFB Alaska. When the 354FW drew down, they shipped it out of there (I forget where it went though).

No, weapons load crews would use it to practice loading different munitions that the A-10 can carry, but doesn't normally fly with at home station. Not all training missions carry "live" munitions. Most bombing training sorties fly with BDU-33 practice bombs:
If that's all you load, you get rusty loading other stuff. So they practice, are qualified on different munitions and have competitions loading all kinds of stuff:
